Karina Prasad FRSA

Former Head of The Postdoc Academy, University of Cambridge.

Karina Prasad is a Senior Manager who has spent nearly two decades supporting young researchers and is co-founder of the Postdoc Academy, a Cambridge based organisation dedicated to over 4000 research staff.

Previously she was co-founder and head of the Clinical Academic Training Office and is a Fellow at the Royal Society of the Arts.

Karina’s skills have helped to educate young research staff on how to navigate complex organisational structures and to harness the entrepreneurial mindset to launch new products and services. She is a founder of the Postdocs to Innovators entrepreneurial mindset course and she developed the first graduate course in Translational Research at the University. In her current role she regularly engages with national and international organisations to enhance support for the next generation of research and innovation leaders.
